Send Cheers to show your love for a title and see how much other readers are enjoying it.
Show your love for a manga by sending Cheers. The more a chapter moves you, the more Cheers you can send.
## What is Cheers?
Cheers is a way to root for the manga you love. When a chapter or volume moves you, tap the Cheers button to show your appreciation. Every Cheer adds to a title's total, so you can also see at a glance how much other readers are enjoying it.
## Where to send Cheers
You can send Cheers from two places:
* **The reader**: Open the settings panel while reading and tap the Cheers icon.
* **The completion screen**: When you finish a chapter or volume, tap the Cheers icon that appears.
## How to send Cheers
* You can send up to 10 Cheers to each chapter or volume. Tap as many times as you want, up to the limit.
* On the completion screen, you can see how many times you've tapped.
* Each chapter or volume shows its total number of Cheers from all readers.
## How to see a title's popularity
* A title's page shows its total Cheers, which is the combined number of Cheers across all of its chapters and volumes.
* If a title hasn't received any Cheers yet, no Cheers count appears on its page.
## FAQ
* **Q: How many Cheers can I send to a chapter?**
* A: You can send up to 10 Cheers per chapter or volume.
* **Q: Where can I see how many Cheers a title has?**
* A: On the title's page. The number shown is the total of all Cheers across its chapters and volumes.
* **Q: Why doesn't a title show a Cheers count?**
* A: If a title hasn't received any Cheers yet, the Cheers count doesn't appear. It shows up once the title gets its first Cheer.

## What can I read with emaqi premium?
Every title with a **Premium** badge has a premium area, a designated range of chapters or volumes that subscribers can read freely. The range varies by title, and the lineup grows regularly.
Chapters beyond the premium area can be purchased with coins, the same as before. Volumes within the premium area can also be purchased with coins.
## Can I buy Premium chapters or volumes with coins instead?
Chapters in the premium area can't be bought with coins. They're available only with an emaqi premium subscription. Volumes in the premium area, however, can still be purchased with coins if you prefer. Anything outside the premium area can be purchased with coins as usual.
## Does emaqi premium remove ads?
Within the premium area, yes. Chapters that normally require watching an ad to unlock can be read directly by subscribers, with no ads. For chapters outside the premium area, ad unlock continues to work the same as before for everyone.
## What happened to Wait Until Free?
Wait Until Free (the 23-hour chapter unlock) ended when emaqi premium launched. Chapters that were available through Wait Until Free are now part of the free, premium, or coin purchase areas. Any unused Wait Until Free unlocks expired at the same time.
## Can I use emaqi premium on the web?
No. emaqi premium can be purchased and used only in the emaqi app on iOS and Android. The web version does not support the subscription.
## Which countries is emaqi premium available in?
The United States (\$6.99/month) and Canada (CA\$9.99/month). Prices are charged in local currency through the App Store or Google Play.
## Why don't I see a free trial offer?
The free trial is available once per user. If you've subscribed before (even if you canceled during the trial), the trial won't be offered again, and the subscribe button shows **Subscribe Now** instead of **Start Your Free Trial**.
## Is there an annual plan, student plan, or family plan?
Not currently. emaqi premium is offered as a monthly plan only. We may offer additional plans in the future.
## Can I share my subscription with family members?
A subscription covers one emaqi account. You can use it on multiple devices by signing in to the same account, but family sharing is not currently supported.
## Can I download manga to read offline?
No. Offline reading is not supported, and you can read manga only while online.
## Will I get a notification before I'm charged?
Billing notifications follow the standard behavior of the App Store and Google Play. Depending on your Apple or Google account settings, the store may send you emails or notifications about your subscription. You can check your next billing date anytime in **My Page → emaqi premium card**.
## I subscribed but premium content is still locked
Try the following:
1. Make sure you're signed in to the emaqi account you used when subscribing
2. Confirm the device uses the same Apple or Google account that purchased the subscription
3. Open **My Page → emaqi premium card** and tap the **Restore** button
4. Restart the app

You can check your emaqi premium status in the app, and manage or cancel the subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
## Checking your subscription status
1. Open **My Page**
2. Tap your **emaqi premium member** card at the top
3. The emaqi premium screen shows your plan, status, and next billing or expiration date
**What each status means**:
| Status | Meaning |

| Active | Your subscription is active. The next billing date is shown |
| Active (Free Trial) | You're in your free trial. Billing starts on the date shown |
| Cancelled | Auto-renewal is off. You can keep reading until the expiration date shown |
| Cancelled (Free Trial) | You cancelled during your free trial. You can keep reading until the trial ends on the date shown, and you won't be charged |
| Payment Issue | Your last payment failed. Update your payment method by the date shown (you can keep reading during the grace period) |
Once your subscription has ended, this status screen is no longer shown. You'll see the option to resubscribe instead.
## Canceling your subscription
Cancellation is handled by the App Store or Google Play, not inside the emaqi app. Tap **My Page → emaqi premium card → Manage Subscription** to open your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Deleting the emaqi app does not cancel your subscription. Be sure to cancel through the App Store or Google Play.
## After you cancel
* You can keep reading premium content **until your next billing date**. Your status shows "Cancelled" with the date your access ends
* After that date, premium content becomes unavailable
* Anything you purchased with coins remains yours and is unaffected
* Your coins, reading history, favorites, and account are all unaffected
## Resubscribing
You can resubscribe anytime from the same places you originally subscribed. Note that the **free trial is not available again**. Billing starts immediately when you resubscribe.
## Restoring your subscription on a new device
If you switched devices or reinstalled the app and your subscription isn't recognized:
1. Sign in to the emaqi account you used when you subscribed
2. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple or Google account that purchased the subscription
3. Open **My Page → emaqi premium card** and tap the **Restore** button
## Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their policies. emaqi cannot issue refunds directly for App Store or Google Play purchases.

If a refund is approved, your premium access stops immediately, even if time remains in the billing period.

## Before you subscribe
* emaqi premium is available in the **United States (\$6.99/month)** and **Canada (CA\$9.99/month)**
* You can subscribe only in the **emaqi app (iOS and Android)**, not on the web version
* Payment is processed by the **App Store (iOS)** or **Google Play (Android)**
* You don't need an emaqi account to subscribe. However, signing in or creating an account lets you use your subscription across multiple devices
## How to subscribe
You can start a subscription from several places in the app:
* The **Subscription** tab in the bottom navigation
* The **emaqi premium card** at the top of My Page
* The **premium banner** on a title page, or the prompt that appears when you tap a Premium chapter or volume
Tap any of the entry points above to open the emaqi premium screen, which shows the price, benefits, and featured titles.
Tap **Start Your Free Trial** (or **Subscribe Now** if you've already used your trial).
The standard App Store or Google Play purchase screen appears. Confirm the subscription with your Apple or Google account.
Once the purchase completes, your subscription activates immediately and all premium content unlocks.
## Free trial
* New subscribers get a **1-week free trial** by default. Campaigns may offer longer trials, and the screen always shows the trial period that applies to you
* You won't be charged during the trial. Your first payment happens automatically when the trial ends
* If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged at all, and you can keep using premium content until the trial period is over
* The free trial is available **once per user**. If you cancel and resubscribe later, billing starts immediately without a trial
## Billing and renewal
* emaqi premium is a monthly plan that **renews automatically** every month from your first billing date
* The App Store or Google Play charges your registered payment method on each renewal
* You can check your next billing date anytime in **My Page → your emaqi premium status card**

* Even after you've been charged, you can keep using emaqi premium until the end of the period you've already paid for
## If a payment fails
If your renewal payment fails (for example, an expired card or insufficient funds):
* Your status shows **Payment Issue** in My Page, and the App Store or Google Play retries the payment during a grace period
* You can keep reading premium content during the grace period
* Update your payment method in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Once payment succeeds, your subscription continues as normal
* If payment doesn't succeed within the grace period, the subscription expires and premium content becomes unavailable until you resubscribe
## Using your subscription on multiple devices
* Sign in to the same emaqi account on each device and your subscription status syncs automatically

## How reading works on emaqi
emaqi premium is the main way to read. The **premium area** is the heart of each eligible title, and your subscription unlocks all of it. Each title is organized into up to three areas:
1. **Premium area**: Chapters and volumes included in emaqi premium. Subscribers read them freely. Chapters here can't be bought with coins, but volumes can still be purchased with coins if you prefer
2. **Free area**: Preview chapters that anyone can read for free
3. **Coin purchase area**: Chapters and volumes beyond the premium area, purchased with coins (Unlock with Ads is also available for select chapters)
With a subscription, you read straight through the premium area, then continue into the newest chapters with coins whenever you want. Without one, you can still read free previews and buy chapters or volumes with coins, but emaqi premium is what unlocks the full experience.
The Wait Until Free feature (23-hour chapter unlock) ended when emaqi premium launched. Chapters previously available through Wait Until Free are now part of the free, premium, or coin purchase areas. Unlock with Ads is unaffected. Depending on the title, some chapters can still be unlocked for free by watching an ad.
## Finding premium titles
Subscription-eligible content is marked with a **Premium** badge throughout the app:
* **Home tab**: Premium badges appear on title covers
* **Subscription tab**: If you haven't subscribed yet, a Subscription tab in the bottom navigation lets you start a subscription. After you subscribe, this tab disappears and premium titles appear throughout the app as usual
* **Title page**: Premium-eligible volumes and chapters show a Premium badge in the chapter list
* **Library and Ranking**: Premium badges appear next to eligible titles
* **Dig (discovery feature)**: Premium titles show a "Read with Premium" icon
Offline reading (downloading chapters) is not supported. You can read manga only while online.

# Discovering manga with Dig

Dig is a full-screen feed where you scroll to read on and swipe to switch titles. Learn the two gestures at its core, how to use the feed, and how emaqi premium titles appear.
**Dig** is the most immersive way to discover your next read. It previews manga in a full-screen feed built around two simple gestures:
* **Scroll up and down** to keep reading the title you're previewing, so you can get deeper into the story.
* **Swipe left and right** to switch to a different title.
That's what makes Dig special: scroll to read on, swipe to move between titles. You'll find Dig in the bottom menu.
## How to use Dig
Tap **Dig** in the bottom menu to start the feed.
Scroll up and down to read further into the title you're previewing. The pages flow continuously, so you get a real feel for the story and art.
Swipe left or right to move to a different title. When one grabs you, tap **Details** to open its title page and keep reading the full work.
## A feed that adapts to you
Dig adapts to your taste the more you use it.
* Tap **Not interested** on a title to stop seeing it in your feed
* You don't need an account to use Dig, but signing in keeps your preferences when you switch devices

The Home screen is where you discover your next favorite manga.
## Home screen
The Home screen is a timeline that makes it easy to discover manga across various genres and themes. By scrolling vertically, you can browse recommended works and free content, as well as personalized selections based on your preferences. Titles included in [emaqi premium](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium) show a **Premium** badge on their covers.

A manga's details page is your hub for choosing chapters or volumes to read, buying with coins, and reading with emaqi premium.
## What the details page is for
A manga's details page is your hub for starting a title. From here you can read it, buy it with coins, or subscribe to emaqi premium to read it.
## Chapters and volumes
You can read a title by **Chapter** or **Volume**. Switch between them with the toggle at the top of the screen. A title may offer chapters only, volumes only, or both.
### Chapters
Each chapter is available in one of these ways. The label on the chapter tells you which:
* **Free**: Read it now at no cost
* **Coins**: Buy it with the number of coins shown
* **Unlock with Ads**: For some chapters, you can watch an ad to read them for free (see [Unlock with Ads](/app/unlock-with-ads/unlock-with-ads-user-guide))
* **Premium**: Read it with [emaqi premium](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium)
Chapters in the premium area can't be bought with coins. You need an emaqi premium subscription to read them.
### Volumes
Each volume is available in one of these ways:
* **Try it out**: Sample the volume for free
* **Coins**: Buy the volume with coins
* **Premium**: Read it with emaqi premium
You can buy volumes with coins even when they're in the premium area. So as long as a title offers volumes, you can always buy them with coins.
**To buy a volume with coins:**
1. Switch to **Volume**
2. Tap the thumbnail of the volume you want to open its details
3. Buy it with coins from the details screen
The volume list doesn't show a coin-purchase option. To buy with coins, tap the volume's thumbnail to open its details and buy from there.
## Reading with emaqi premium
Volumes and chapters in the premium area are marked with a **Premium** label.
* **If you haven't subscribed**: Tapping a premium volume or chapter brings up the option to subscribe
* **If you've subscribed**: Tapping a premium title lets you keep reading right away

The Library (your bookshelf) is where you can easily access manga you've read, saved, or purchased. Think of it as your personal manga collection!

* **Reading History**: Displays manga you've started reading
* **Saved**: Displays manga you've saved
* **Purchased**: Displays manga you've purchased with coins

Tap the bookmark icon on a manga's details page to add it to Saved.

The Purchased tab shows manga you bought with coins, including premium-area volumes you buy with coins. Content you read through your [emaqi premium](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium) subscription isn't a purchase, so it doesn't appear here. Open those titles directly from the app (look for the **Premium** badge), and manage your subscription from My Page.
## Important notes about your data
We recommend creating an account to safely store your manga collection:
* If you change devices or reinstall the app without creating an account, your data may be lost
* If you change devices or reinstall the app and sign in with your account, your reading history, saved titles, and purchase data will be restored
* With an account, you can access your library from multiple devices

Understand the types of coins on emaqi, how to purchase them, and how to use and manage your coin balance.
## What are coins?
Coins are digital currency used to read stories on emaqi. With coins, you can purchase and read chapters or volumes.
Coins aren't the only way to read. [emaqi premium](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium) is a monthly subscription that gives you unlimited access to the premium area of eligible titles, with no coins needed for that content.
## Types of coins and how to use them
### Types of coins
There are three types of coins:
* **Paid Coins (No Expiration)**
* Coins purchased with money
* No expiration date
* **Free Coins (No Expiration)**
* Bonus coins received when purchasing coins
* No expiration date
* **Free Coins (With Expiration)**
* Coins received from campaigns and promotions
* Must be used by the expiration date shown when received
### Coin consumption order
When using coins, they are automatically consumed in the following order:
1. Free coins with expiration dates (starting with those expiring soonest)
2. Free coins (no expiration)
3. Paid coins (no expiration)
## How to purchase coins
### Purchasing coins from My Page
Tap the profile icon in the upper right of the Home/Library screen.
Tap the "Coin shop" button from My Page.
Select the coin package you want to purchase.
Complete the payment process.
Coins will be added to your account.
### Purchasing coins from a title's page
Go to the manga details page and attempt to purchase a manga.
When you're short on coins, a coin purchase modal will appear.
Select the coin package you want to purchase.
Complete the payment process.
Coins will be added to your account.

* A: Coins can only be used in the app from the App Store or Google Play. They cannot be used on the emaqi website.
* **Q: Can I cancel a manga purchase?**
* A: In general, a purchase can't be canceled once it's made. Please review the manga carefully before you buy.

* **Q: Can I download manga to read offline?**
* A: Currently, manga cannot be read offline. (This feature is planned for future updates)

## Purchasing manga
This guide explains how to purchase and read manga using coins.
Coins are one way to read on emaqi. If you'd rather read without buying chapters one by one, [emaqi premium](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium) is a monthly subscription that unlocks the premium area of eligible titles. It's available in the emaqi app in the United States and Canada.
## Basic purchase flow

## Step 1: Purchasing coins
Coins are digital currency you can use within emaqi to purchase manga. *Note: You can skip this step if you already have coins.*
1. **Open the Coin Shop**
* Tap "My Page" → "Coin Shop".
2. **Choose a coin package**
* Choose from a range of packages (100-10,000 coins).
* Larger packages include bonus coins.
3. **Complete your payment**
* Follow the payment steps on your device.
* Your coins are added to your account right away.
## Step 2: Finding manga you want to purchase
1. **Browse the home screen**
* Check out featured titles and new releases.
* Browse genres that interest you.
2. **Search for a specific manga**
* Tap the search icon and enter the manga title.
* Look through the search results.
3. **Open the manga details**
* Tap a manga cover to view its details.
* Review the synopsis and the chapters and volumes available to purchase.

1. **View the chapter list**
* All chapters appear in the "Chapters" tab on the manga details page.
* Free chapters are labeled "Free".
* Paid chapters show the number of coins required (for example, a coin icon followed by "20").
* Chapters labeled **Premium** are part of emaqi premium and can't be purchased with coins. Read them with a [subscription](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium). Premium **volumes** can still be bought with coins.
2. **Select a chapter to purchase**
* Tap the button showing the coin amount.
* Confirm your purchase.
* Your coin balance updates automatically after the purchase.

Unlock with Ads is available for chapters in eligible areas. If the “Unlock with Ads” option appears when you tap a chapter, you can unlock that chapter by watching an ad.
If you subscribe to [emaqi premium](/app/emaqi-premium/what-is-emaqi-premium), you can read these chapters directly without watching ads, so the “Unlock with Ads” option no longer appears while your subscription is active.
## What is Unlock with Ads?
**Watch a short video, read a chapter for free**
With the “Unlock with Ads” feature, you can watch a short video advertisement to unlock a chapter at no cost. This gives you a way to keep reading every day without spending coins.
**Available on select titles**
“Unlock with Ads” is available on select manga titles. When you tap a locked chapter, a modal appears, and if it includes the “Unlock with Ads” option, you can unlock that chapter with an ad.
**Up to 3 chapters per title per day**
You can unlock up to 3 chapters per title each day by watching ads. This limit resets daily, so you can come back and unlock more chapters the next day.
**72 hours to enjoy**
Once unlocked, each chapter stays available for 72 hours (3 days), giving you plenty of time to read at your own pace.
## How to find “Unlock with Ads” titles
* “Unlock with Ads” is available on select titles only. Not all manga support this feature.
* You don’t need to look for a special label. When you tap a locked chapter, the “Unlock with Ads” option appears in the modal if that chapter is eligible.
## How to use “Unlock with Ads”
### Steps
1. **Look for the “Unlock with Ads” option**
* Tap a locked chapter to open the modal. If the “Unlock with Ads” button appears, you can unlock that chapter with an ad.
2. **Tap “Unlock with Ads”**
* Tap the button to start loading a short video advertisement.
3. **Watch the full video**
* Watch the video ad all the way to the end. You cannot skip or close the video partway through, and the chapter will only unlock after the video finishes.
4. **Start reading immediately**
* Once the video finishes, the chapter is unlocked and you’ll be taken directly to the reader. Enjoy your chapter!
5. **Come back for more**
* You can unlock up to 3 chapters per title per day. Once you’ve reached the daily limit, you can still purchase chapters with coins, or wait until the next day to unlock more with ads.

* **Q: Which manga titles support “Unlock with Ads”?**
* A: “Unlock with Ads” is available on select titles only. When you tap a locked chapter, the “Unlock with Ads” option appears in the modal if that chapter is eligible. Not all manga support this feature.

* A: Make sure any ad-blocking software or VPN is disabled, as these may prevent ads from loading. Also note that not all titles support this feature.

* Manga and coins purchased with a guest account cannot be transferred to your web version account
### Password issues
* If you forget your password, you can reset it from "My Page > Sign In > Sign In with email" by clicking "Forgot password?"
### Registration email issues
* If you don't receive the registration email, check the following:
* Verify that your email address was entered correctly
* Check your spam/junk mail folder
* Make sure your email provider allows emails from [emaqi.com](http://emaqi.com/)
* Verification emails expire after 24 hours, so request a resend if necessary

### Updating information
* Once set, date of birth and certain profile information cannot be changed without contacting support
* After signing in, you can change your email address and password from the "Account Information" menu on My Page
* Your sign-in method (Google, Apple, or email) cannot be changed without contacting support
### Account deletion
* After signing in, you can delete your account from the "Account Information" menu on My Page
* Once you delete your account, you will lose access to your purchased works
* Your account will become inaccessible 72 hours after initiating deletion
* You can cancel the deletion within this period
* If you delete an account used on multiple devices, you will lose access on all devices. Recovery is not possible after deletion under any circumstances
* Deleting your account does not cancel an emaqi premium subscription. Cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play. See [Managing your subscription](/app/emaqi-premium/managing-your-subscription)

* **Q: Do I need an account to read manga?**
* A: You can read without an account, but your reading history, favorites, and purchase data may be lost if you change devices or uninstall the app. We recommend creating an account to protect your data.

* A: From My Page, go to "Account Information > Change password," enter your email address, and follow the reset instructions sent to your inbox.
* **Q: Will my purchases transfer if I change to a new device?**
* A: If you've already created an account on your old device, sign in with that account on your new device to carry over your purchase data. If you haven't created an account, your purchase data won't carry over to a new device.
* **Q: How do I delete my account?**
* A: Go to "Account Information > Delete Account" on My Page. Note that this action is permanent, and all data will be deleted.

My Page allows you to check your account information, manage coins, and access various settings.
## How to access My Page
You can access My Page by tapping the profile icon on the Home or Library screen.
## Main features
### Account information
* **For guest accounts**:
* Options to create an account or sign in are shown
* Creating an account lets you sync your data across multiple devices
* **For signed-in users**:
* Your registered email address is shown
* Open detailed settings from the "Account Information" menu
* Sign out of your account with the "Sign Out" button
### Coin management
* Tap the **coin icon** on My Page to check your current coin balance
* Check the expiration dates of limited-time coins
* To buy more coins, tap the **coin icon** and choose a coin package
### emaqi premium
* An emaqi premium card appears on My Page
* If you haven't subscribed, tap it to see the subscription details and start a free trial
* If you're a subscriber, it shows your membership, and you can tap through to check your status, manage, or cancel your subscription

* **Q: Can I purchase coins without creating an account?**
* A: Yes, you can purchase coins and read manga with a guest account. However, your purchase data won't transfer if you switch to a different device or reinstall the app.
* **Q: Where can I check my coin balance?**
* A: Your current coin balance is shown at the top of My Page. Tap it to also see your detailed purchase history.
* **Q: What happens if I delete my account?**
* A: When you delete your account, all purchase data and reading history are permanently removed. Please note that this cannot be undone once deletion is complete. If you subscribe to emaqi premium, deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play. However, since you can unlock one "Wait Until Free" chapter per day for each title, you can complete the mission in one day by reading one chapter from each of 3 different titles.

## How rewards work
### Automatic coin distribution
1. **Complete a Mission**: After finishing reading the required chapters, coins are instantly added to your account
2. **In-Reader Notification**: A notification will appear at the bottom of your reader screen confirming your reward
3. **Home Screen Confirmation**: When you return to the Home screen, a special animation will show you've earned coins
4. **No Claiming Required**: Unlike previous campaigns, you don't need to manually claim rewards!

* Open the Mission list from your Home screen to see your progress
* Completed missions will show a "Completed" icon
* Incomplete missions will show a "Go" button to help you get started

## Can I purchase works without creating an account?
To purchase works, you need to create an account.
## Available payment methods
To purchase works, you need to register your credit card details. We use Stripe, a credit card payment processing service, to handle payments. To update your card details, see \[Change Credit Card Information].
## How to check your receipt (purchase statement)
Once your purchase is complete, we send a receipt to your registered email address. Please review the details in the receipt.
## Accepted card brands
We accept the following card brands: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Diners, AMEX, JCB, and China UnionPay.

## About the works
### Are there any works with age restrictions?
Each work has a recommended reading age. Please check this before reading or purchasing.
### Where can I find the target age?
The target age rating is shown on each work's details page.
### How are the ratings determined?
We at Orange developed the following rating system to give parents, consumers, and manga fans the information they need to choose manga titles and judge whether a title is suitable for younger readers. Please use this rating system to help you pick titles.
Ratings are based on the level and frequency of graphic and thematic content within a series. We evaluate a range of factors, including violence, nudity, sexual content, profanity, and references to alcohol, tobacco, and drug use. Sensitive themes such as bullying, abuse, self-harm, and terrorism are also taken into account.

## If you have forgotten your password
You can reset your password from the sign-in screen. Follow the instructions on the screen to send a password reset email.
## Manga won't display or load
Depending on your network connection, the manga may take some time to appear in the viewer. If it still doesn't display after a while, try clearing your browser's cache.
## Purchased works are not in the bookshelf
Please check the following about your purchase:
* Is the account you are signed in with the same as the one used for the purchase?
* Did you receive a confirmation email at the time of purchase?
If you are signed in with the correct account and received the purchase confirmation email, but the work still isn't appearing on your bookshelf, please contact us through the contact page for further help.

## Age requirement for registration
* This service is available only to individuals aged 13 and older. Please note that some works may have a recommended age rating, so be sure to check before reading.
## User registration
* Registering is simple. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google account.
## Availability by region
* This service is currently available only to customers in North America (the United States and Canada). Please note that access from outside the supported region is not available.
## Registration fees
* Registering for emaqi is free. There are no annual fees or fixed costs, and you are only charged when you purchase a work. Please note that any carrier fees or internet charges are your responsibility.
## Unable to set password
* Passwords must meet certain requirements, such as character length. Please check the message shown on screen when you set your password.
## Registration email not received
Please check the following:
**Is the email address entered correctly?**
* Please double-check that the email address you entered is correct.
**Is the email being blocked by spam settings?**
* Check whether the email was classified as spam and moved to your spam folder. Also make sure that your email app or provider's spam settings allow emails from the emaqi domain.

## Expired registration email
* The verification email is valid for 24 hours after it is sent. Open the link in the email you received, or resend the verification email from the sign-in screen.
## How to change birthdate
* Once set, your birthdate cannot be changed on your own. If you entered it incorrectly and need to correct it, please contact our [support desk](/app/support/contact-support).
## How to correct profile information
* Once set, your profile information cannot be changed on your own. If you entered it incorrectly and need to correct it, please contact our support desk.
## Regarding changes to account information
After signing in, you can manage the following from the "Account Information" menu.
## How to change account information (email address)
* After signing in, register your new email address from the "Account Information" menu. To complete the change, follow the instructions in the confirmation email you receive.
## How to change account information (password)
* After signing in, you can change your password from the "Account Information" menu.
## How to change sign-in method
* We apologize for the inconvenience, but the sign-in method cannot be changed. If you set it up incorrectly and need help, please contact our [support desk](/app/support/contact-support).
## How to delete an account
* After signing in, you can delete your account from the "Account Information" menu. Please note that once your account is deleted, you can no longer read any works you have purchased. Work data also cannot be transferred to another account or merged.
* Since you are only charged when you purchase a work, we recommend simply signing out for everyday use. Please delete your account only if you fully understand the consequences.
* If you choose to delete your account after agreeing to the above, your account becomes inaccessible 72 hours after the deletion process starts. If you started the process by mistake, you can cancel it from the account deletion page in the menu.

## Can I read for free?
* The opening portion of each work is available to read for free, so you can check the content before you buy. How much you can read for free may vary by campaign or title, but you are only charged when you purchase a work.
## Can I read emaqi premium titles on the web?
* emaqi premium is an app-only subscription. Premium-area titles can't be read in your web browser. When you open one, you'll be prompted to read it in the emaqi app (iOS or Android). On the web, you can still read free previews and buy and read works with a card. See the [emaqi premium guide](/app/emaqi-premium/overview) for details.
## Can I view purchased works on different devices?
* You can view purchased works on different devices, such as a PC or smartphone. Just sign in to emaqi on each device to read them at no extra charge.
