How are the ratings determined?

We at Orange have developed the following rating system to provide parents, consumers, and manga fans with the information they need to choose manga titles and determine whether they are suitable for young readers. Please refer to this rating system to select the appropriate titles. Ratings are determined based on the level and prevalence of graphic and thematic elements within the series. Various factors are evaluated, including violence, nudity, sexual content, profanity, and references to alcohol, tobacco, and drug use. Sensitive themes such as bullying, abuse, self-harm, and terrorism are also considered. However, please note that these ratings are based on our subjective evaluations and should be used as general guidance.
